Overview
MDActive Manuka Honey is a special type of mono-floral honey which is produced by bees.
The bees gather the nectar from the flowers that grow on the manuka bush (also known as Leptospermum scoparium).
The manuka bush grows only in certain parts of Australia and New Zealand.
MDActive manuka honey is derived from the leptospermum tree and is a native Australian flora.
The active ingredient of the manuka honey is a compound called methylglyoxal(MGO) and it generates anti-bacterial action.
The higher the methylglyoxal level, the greater the antibacterial effect it will have.
