Jojoba Oil’s molecular structure is similar to sebum, which is a waterproofing and moisturising substance secreted by the human skin to protect it against the external environment. Jojoba Oil’s similarity to the skin’s sebum makes it an effective and long lasting moisturiser.

By mimicking the skin’s sebum, Jojoba Oil also has the ability to regulate sebum production and is therefore useful to balance oily and combination skin.

Contrary to its name and appearance, Jojoba Oil is not an oil but a liquid wax and is not subject to rapid oxidation, unlike many other vegetable oils.

Directions for Use
